Changing My RH: 70% -> 65%

Going to be switching from 70RH to 65RH this weekend. I don't foresee this as a huge undertaking, but wanted to get some different opinions and I'm sure there's a purist or two with some more intricate tricks.

My current humidification is the green foamy, 2oz beads and a small canister of crystals. The 2oz of beads was supposed to take over for the other stuff, but turns out it was too close in size for the volume of my humi which is where I went wrong and ended up getting the other things in there. Since this was stabilized at 70/70 perfectly, I didn't mess with it.

I'm making the switch to 1/2 pound of 65RH beads and an oust fan. And I'm planning on pulling out most humidification and letting the sticks sweat it out and popping the beads in when hygro reads 65%. Any reason to do this other than just straight up switching to 3/4 saturated beads and just popping it in?
