So now I have these English blends

that are just too mild for me, so what can I mix with them to beef up the flavor?

A simple blend is to add some kind of Dark Fired Kentucky Burly like this one at P&S.

GH Kendal Kentucky is another great tobacco that will blend well with your mild English's.

Thanks Mike, I was looking at that GH. What do you think for a ratio to start with?

I was going to say Burley; also some dark roasted black Cavendish will beef up your blend.

Since you had no problem enjoying the Brown Bogie, think of adding some of the mild English to the Kentucky to tone the strong flavors down some. Start with 50/50 blend. I like Burley for its earthy flavors and good burning qualities since it is usually a dryer tobacco.

Adding GH Kendall Kentucky and Brown Cavendish to my order. I don't see Black Cavendish from GH on smokingpipes.com, is there a huge difference black and brown?

Black cavendish is stoved (cooked) more then the brown. That means more nicotine is cooked away leading to a milder tobacco. Brown cavendish is stronger. GH uses Burley tobacco for their brown cavendish.

So that sounds like it would be good to mix with the mild English as well?

I have not used cavendish as a blending tobacco, but it sounds like it would work per Jeff's recommendation.
