I'm in Florida on vacation and will be leaving heading home in the morning. I've been to a couple local shops looking for rums and bourbons I can't get locally at home. We'll be going back through Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee heading home. Just wondering which of these states will have the highest liquor taxes and what might or might not be found in those states.

I found Flor de Cana (currently enjoying a bottle of 7yr I bought), El Dorado 5yr, 12yr and 15yr and Zacapa 23yr here as well as Buffalo Trace, one bottle of George Dickel #12 and they even had a bottle of the Eagle Rare 17yr from the Antique Collection. I didn't see any Ancient Ancient Age at either store here.

I'm just on the search for things that aren't distributed at home to grab up while I can and wondering if any of those states has outrageous taxes on spirits. I'm also open for suggestions on things I might seriously want to be looking for.

Any thoughts or ideas??
