Cava is my go to sparkler, there is some decent sparkling wine from Germany as well, just not easy to find

On the few occasions we have sparkling wine, it's usually something Italian, like Asti Spumante. Tonight will feature Limoncello Prosecco cocktails.

Homemade limoncelo?
I made a batch once. Used a fifth of vodka, a fifth of Ever clear and about 15 lemons. It's really tasty mixed with ice and tonic water, but after two or three you begin to see vapor trails behind everyone.

Nope, ours is store bought, Caravella, a gift from our oldest daughter as was the sparkling wine. A couple of shots in a champagne flute. then filled with the sparkling wine, pretty potent. No vapor trails............................................ .............yet.

Toad Hollow Extra Sweet sparkling wine. I just like it because it comes in a ceramic flip top cap like the Grolsch Beer bottles. Also good in orange juice!
