This may sound kind of stupid, but I'm wondering if a lot of the albums at that time were laid out to compliment 8-track tapes since they had to do that channel change at the end of the tape loop?
WOW...flashback! Hey, don't forget to cram a matchbook in there when the tape starts slipping! A buddy in Denver collects 8 track tapes. He has about 2000 of those nutty things. I bet he has Pink Floyd in that collection!
