Kansas - debut albums

Someone mentioned Kansas DIW as first album they purchased. I hated the 'radio' Kansas but did any of you listen to the first LP with 'Bringing It Back' on it. I gotta go see if I can hear some samples to see if it was as fun a listen as back then.

Debuts that I thought wre great - Dire Straits (duh) and Rickie Lee Jones IMHO neither artist ever topped their first. SRV Texas Flood same as the other two my favorite. Same for Robert Cray can't recall if the title was 'Too Many Cooks' or ??? but he was hungry had fire it wasn't all slick-syrupy love tunes that followed.

I am sure theres more like Allman Brothers Band but since they had already recorded as Allman Joys and Hourglass I don't count that as true 'debut'
