It makes a yummy quick bread, but that's about the only way I have found it palatable.

I stopped brewing before you and I met, Jason. Not of my own choice but my brew room got occupied... *sigh*. It looks like a dumpster from behind forever 21 and an antique book store both threw up in there.

That's because they don't exist...(palatable pumpkin beer). Back when I was judging beer we would FIGHT to NOT get the fruit/vegetable category...some truly putrid beers would be submitted - wtf is with putting a habanero in beer?

fruit beers are proof that evil walks amongst us

Bell's has an Oktoberfest beer this year for the first time in 4-5 years. I may seek it out today.

I've been disappointed in October's for a few years now. Bought Springfield brewery three blind mice, brown ale, it's really what I look for in a beer. Balance, dark malt, low ibu, rich flavor, fruity notes. I'd forgotten how much I like it.

Ayinger is a little toastier than I remember the past few years. Bells unavailable at the local store. Pollyanna Brewing's Fruehauf is quite good.
