Samuel Gawith Celtic Talisman
I'm usually not a big fan of flavored or fruity tobaccos, but occationally I will smoke a bowl of cherry blend. Unfortunately, most cherry blends have a bite to them. I was hoping that the Celtic Talisman was not the case. I smoked a bowl of this last night in my Stanwell poker. Although the pipe is fairly new and not totally broken in yet, I was surprised how badly the tobacco smoked. The Celtic Talisman burned hot. Even though I tried to smoke it slowly, I still had to hold the pipe by the stem. Also, there wasn't much cherry taste to it either. The tobacco also had a harsh bite to it. Heck, even Paladin Black Cherry was better than this! I'll smoke it again in a different pipe to see if the taste changes, but I doubt it.
