Go easy on me guys...
Big Butt 4 3/4 x 54 I picked this one up about 3 months ago while visiting some family in Atlanta. I'd never tried this brand before and thought it sounded interesting. Wrapper/Appearance: Brownish-black with some sheen and a fine sandpaper texture. "Rugged"-looking with a few prominent veins and a lumpy body. Light/Smoke: Lit with relative ease, despite windy conditions. Initial uneven burn quickly self-corrected. Draw was fairly easy and produced moderate volume of smoke. First third tasted heavily of cocoa, with hints of cedar and leather, and medium body. Middle third started to build in strength to medium-full and had a nice balance of cocoa and cedar notes. By the last third, my stomach was churning a bit (empty stomach, except a couple of cups of coffee earlier) and the cedar taste was the strongest, with some bite. At this point, I would call it full-bodied. The cigar head started getting a bit mushy (and my head was spinning), so I put it down, and carefully stood up. Overall: A dark, rustic cigar with rich flavors and a powerful punch. Maybe could have used a few more months in the humi to mellow that bite toward the end, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
