Puros Indios

I couldn't decide what to light up this morning. While picking thru my stash, I came across a familiar band, Puros Indios. Now I know there is very little love here for these in many forums I frequent, in fact, I don't think I've seen anything but disdain. Somebody must like them, they've been made for years and continue to be rolled. Years ago I used to smoke these, then moved on to cigars I liked better. I haven't smoked one in a long time.

Well, it was as I remembered. Mild body, light in flavor. It was slightly fruity, with a citrus note, and mild spice. Not complex, the taste didn't change throughout the smoke.

Was it a bad cigar? To me, no, a bad cigar is one poorly constructed. Not liking the flavor doesn't make it bad, just not for me. It was well constructed and burned evenly with plenty of smoke. It's not a cigar I'm going to add to my humi, but I'll smoke one with you if you give me one.
