Beetles Down?

Many years ago, say seven or so, it seemed like a lot of my domestic cigars got beetles. I tossed boxes worth. certain brands seemed to get them more often than not. Now maybe it's because I've quit buying those brands or they are t around anymore, but with the same storage conditions I haven't had beetles in years (knock on wood). Maybe they've started treating to tobacco leaves with all kinds of pesticides?
Anyone else notice how there seem to be less beetles these days?
