Crushing the Velvet carpet...the American reviews...
Well, here's the low down...after a brief hiatus...I managed to contact a friend to do a blind random sampler trade...and we've decided to let CW in to follow the course of reviews..
We both sent each other random samples of 8 smokes that we are currently regularly enjoying, and number them each on a blank band and review them blindly. I smoked number 3 today on the way home from work... First impressions...nicaraguan. Well made box pressed maduro lonsdale. Enjoyable smoke. Molasses sweetness. Burned razor sharp...nameless partner sent a quality smoke I believe...Sweet and wonderful. Not a ton of spiciness, but a more moddled nutmegesque flava. All around great, great smoke. If this is affordable, I'm buying a bundle or box or whatever... sooo..what was it??
