Beauregard Strikes Again !

I have to start out by stating that I really like this dog . He is good with my Grandson and other small kids . Has kept me company through some long and painfull hours as well .
Beau is still under a year pld . His one real bad habit is that he jumps up on me when I come home . I was told that Australian Shepherds have that habit and have learned that its not so easy to break .
When i sit and read I tend to hold my pipe between my teeth . While reading this morning , Beau came running into the Family Room , took one big leap and landed right in my lap . He hit my pipe and knocked a tooth out . Actually the tooth broke just out of the gum-line . A terrible smile in the mirror . My dentist will see me in the morning . i`m taking Beau with me , that way , he will not need to jump on me when we get home .
