The way it was described--that $2.00 is "soup to nuts"/ "door-to-door", as per a manufacturer at the first New Orleans RTDA.
Lew has been trying to get us to understand this stuff for a long time. We do not see new marketing strategies on cigars that have been around 20 yrs. In a lot of cases, advertising is usually for the manufacturer, sometimes for a new line, Any monies allocated from that $2.00 on a per cigar basis adds up quickly. Even 1 penny from each cigar rolled generates a chunk of change. Add to that any monies from profits (after expenses) from the sale of that cigar.
