Senator Dennis Chavez Humidor

Dennis Chavez was a US Senator from New Mexico for many years. This presentation humidor is probably a 60s product. It was in pretty rough shape. The refurb turned out pretty nice. I sold it to a Brother in New Mexico who intended to donate it to a museum.

Before Pics:

The finish is pretty rough on this walnut box.

Painted metal top and bottom. Really thin cedar siding. This was not an expensive humidor.

Finished pics:

Polished super smooth and finished with Tried and True, the walnut really shines.

This looks much more inviting than before.

Presentation plate.
