I received this cigar in one of MrJerrys double ultra secret boxpasses (I have been in two). I decided to smoke it on the golf course yesterday and found myself with high scores as the cigar was holding most of my attention (that and the beer cart girl)
Strength- Medium Body- Medium- Full Flavors- Great mixture of flavors that ranged from ceder to a sweet hint of fruitiness. Aroma- A slightly sweet aroma that my cart-buddy (a non-smoker) enjoyed. Overall- A very nice churchill. One of the best cigars I have ever had on the golf course. Thank you Mr. Jerry, can't wait for the next pass! I'd rather be driving; either golf balls or my Dodge! |

There is another good (IMHO) golfing cigar you might want to try. You agree with me on the Topper Oscuros, maybe the Montesino Napoleon Grande (7x46 - N,M - about $35 for a bundle of 25) will float your boat. The JM Tubo didn't do it for me, though.
Thank you for your review.

Being a long time Jose Marti fan -- I agree with you wholeheartedly (even though I don't golf ). I have enjoyed the original Dom tins and the newer Nics Torpedos and Churchill size. I guess I like all that I've tried - not as much as Padron - but still a good cigar to alternate with other stronger vitolas.

Thanks for the review Purosdave! I'm very glad you enjoyed the cigar, and I'm even more pleased to hear that it helped your golf game.
If you need more, LMK!
