Instrument donation for Katrina victims

Howdy,

I'm going back to New Orleans on Thursday, September 22. I'm bringing a boatload of musical instruments with me...mainly brass and drums. Turns out that many of the musicians lived in the 9th ward, and they lost their axes along with their houses and everything else.

The tipitina's foundation http://www.tipitinasfoundation.org is setting it up so that you can donate instruments, and they will put them into the hands of needy musicians. It's tax deductible, and the stuff goes straight to the hands of the guys who need it most.
