La Aurora Preferido...???
I ordered a fiver of La Aurora Preferido #1 (m- 6x58).Thank goodness I didn't get a box for $237.95 at FSS.
I think it is a good cigar. Pretty good in fact, but not nearly worth the cost to me. The most expensive cigar I smoke on a regular basisis CAO Maduro Toro. And I hate paying that much. But it's a darn good cigar IMHO. At nearly half the price of the Preferidos, I doubt I'll be dumping CAOs anytime soon. I've recently tried the Viturosos, and I like them, but not as much as CAO. Anyone here a fan of the La Aurora Preferido? I personally think it's a good cigar, but not great. I would not buy a box of these. In fact, I'm not sure I'd pay $100 for these. I just don't see where they are worth the price to me. If I didn't know what brand they were, and smoked one, I would not have overly impressed. I would have thought, this is a pretty good, well made cigar, that should sell for about $3-$4 per stick, at most. Am I missing something? Are they superb, after a couple of years?
