You can put your cigars in a ziplock bag or a cigar box and put a water pillow in there with it. Water pillows are good for 30 to 45 days. If you get a few of them, you can use one each month during the semester. The water pillow has crystals in it, that when dropped in distilled water, inflates into a little pillow.

Or you can get a cylinder container of some sort with a plastic seal lining the lid and put some small silver humidification discs in with the cigars. You just put some droplets of distilled water on the discs and drop them down in the canister/container.

Whatever you do, don't put them in the refrigerator.
