La Perla Maduro Toro
I brought one of these out last night with just over a years dor time on it.
Rock solid construction. A cigar so hard you think this sucker is gonna be plugged all the way through. Nothing could be further from the truth. Solid clip, perfect pre-light draw, toast the foot and light with ease. This is freakin fan freakin tastic! Chocolate, expresso, with a spice finish. What the hell more can you want? Oh yeah smooth, that's what you want. And it is smooth. I could hit like a freight train, or I could nurse it like a newborn pup. It didn't matter, goodness reigned! Once I got down to the last inch and couldn't hold it any longer.............I ate it. La Perla Maduro with some age. That is the ticket

I have a bunch of these, and the churchill too. One of my very favorite non-Cubans. The aroma off the cigar with these is unreal, so much sweet cedar.
And they are beautiful to look at, too. John |

the nats need age too. More so than the maddies.
This was one Mean cigar. And the joy of it is, I have plenty more.

Well, now you must certainly send one my way to re-evaluate! Just kidding. I believe my wife is going to bean me on the head with frying pan if more cigars show up here!

Nice review. I have some of these hid away also. Maybe I'll fire one up golfing this weekend.

Rick, you sure you got all the reviews covered?
I'm telling ya, after having them stowed away for some time, they have really come to be a great smoke.

The La Perla Maduro Toro was THE cigar that got me hooked. (and also got me in lots of trouble with all the cigars I've been buying) I haven't had one in awhile. Uncle Mikey's HSM has taken it's place at a very reasonable price. |

I agree totally with the review. These are one of my favorite maduros. I think that they are very underrated.
