Gumby Reviews the JR Alt Edocion Limitado
First off, thx to Shadow for sending me some to try.
Appearance: Rock solid construction, very well rolled, nice dark wrapper with no dlaws in the leaf. Nice looking band. Pre-light, the cigar looks and smells really good. The smoke: Nice tight ash and very even burn. More evidence of a well made cigar. Taste: Starts off a little harsh for my liking, tastes a little bit like a cigaretre to me. That being said, there are some nice undertones to this cigar. It seems to be losing some of the harshness about a quarter of the way in. I don’t know that I would nub one of these, but I would not think of tossing it either. Overall, a pleasant smoke. Gumby has found an Alt that he likes. And now, with hell freezing over, we can quit worrying about global warming. As I always say to grtrx, smoke what you like, and like what you smoke. Cheers.

So, how did you like it compared to say the Amazing OPUS-X?
FWIW over the years I have smoked quite a few of the JR alts with mostly no ill effects. Cheers!
