This is the one with the red and gold lable, with 3 months sleeping time.
This is a nice looking box pressed 6 3/4 x 54 cigar. The wrapper was very dark, darker than most maduros I've seen. It smelled sweet and had a good tobcco smell also. The wrapper was nice and smooth, no veins or blems. It lit easily, but was a little tight on the draw, which I guess is from the size but it wasn't like it hurt my cheeks. The ash was a dark gray with some black thrown in. At first I tasted a semi-sweet chocolate and leather, smooth and not harsh.. It grew to a rich deep character the further I smoked it. At one inch it became much bolder in strength but remained smooth. About 1/2 way through I picked up a little pepper and cedar. This continued to the end of the cigar. It was smooth throughout, but built in strenght and character. This cigar became to bold for me. I like this cigar but will buy it in a smaller size next time. Overall 8.5 |
