Last week I was gifted a 5 pack of these by a client who purchased the humidor and cigars. I hadn't found the time to smoke one until today.

It looks exactly like a regular VSG except for the extra band on it. Before lighting it smelled pretty strong. A quick clip and easy light and I sat down outside in the Vegas sun to enjoy it.

The inital draws were fairly mild, but the pepper flavors began to pick up quickly. The taste was straightforward, pepper and tobacco. The draw and smoke were quite less than I had anticipated based on other VSG experiences. About halfway through, the cigar began to canoe which wasn't a big problem. I figured the cigar's flavor would get more intense towards the end, but it didn't.

Overall, a big disappointment. Maybe it needs some sleep. At least I hope it does. Nothing to write home about, and I feel bad for my client if the rest of the cigars in the humidor are as lackluster as this one was.

One down, four to go.
