Quartesawn Oak Chest #1

This is the first quartersawn oak chest I worked on. One of the first larger humidors I worked on too.

I think this is an eBay pic:



Same perspective on a stripped, stained and varnished humidor. This was my tung oil varnish phase. I never liked the glossy finish. Nice figuring on the wood though!



Original interior was glass and metal.



The finished front does look pretty sharp!



I was doing all cedar interiors at the time. I was pretty happy with this one.
