Mini Cigar Review: Neus Cappucino

I purchased these as a tin of 10 for £5. These mini cigars are only 3 1/4" in length and have a ring gauge of about 18 (this is an estimate as my measuring device only goes down to size 26).

Firstly I'm comparing this to other minis, not a Cuban robusto. This is a surprising little smoke. A smooth and creamy smoke with a sweet note. This sweetness was pleasant but was not sickly, the cigar was surprisingly medium bodied given it's size. The taste remained the same throughout and it didn't alter or get hot as it cam enear the end. The entire smoke lasted between 13-15 minutes. I didn't get much of a coffee taste whilst I was smoking the cigar, however after finishing the cigar the aftertaste that lingered was smoke and sweet coffee.

Probably the nicest of the mini cigars that I've had. I would highly recommend these if you want a quick smoke and are able to find them. I purchased mine from Cgars Ltd UK.

Chicios, puritos, cigarillos, all sorts of things to call a small cigar.

Thanks for the update, handy to know. Although Chicos over on this side of the pond are usually small, but not as small as mini cigars. Here's a picture of a typical chico (this one is by Regius) beside a mini.

Update:
When I first sampled one of these wee beauties it was with a dram of Armagnac, this was pleasant. However for my second I choose a coffee as my accompaniment (Ethiopian Sidamo if you must know).

This gave a far better smoking experience. The flavours didn't change, but the coffee simply complemented the cigar far better than the Armagnac. I enjoyed a strong, rich, black coffee that gave the perfect partner to the sweet creamy mini cigar. I'm now left with an aftertaste of sweet coffee and tobacco, but it seems quite a bit bolder than it did previously.

If your going to try this (mini) cigar then I recommend pairing it with black coffee, they seem to make the perfect partner
