Sweet or Unsweet?

You may have to be a real southener to even understand the question...

Oh, I like the sweet, but I usually add my own any more...

Sweet. But I did at one time ween myself (reluctantly) off of it for a while and after a couple of weeks, found myself not minding the unsweet so much. Yet, now I'm off the wagon and can't get enough of the stuff.

I guess I got used to it in New Orleans. You have to sweeten it yourself. They don't sell it any other way, generally.

Suits me fine, as I prefer saccarhine to sugar in my beverages.

Concur with Jason.
I can't drink sugar drinks all that much anymore, guess I'm getting old. I get that birdcage liner taste off of my tongue when I drink too much sugar. I can drink a good root beer, or a fountain Coke from a fast food joint (they have the best Cokes) but that's about it. I can't even finish a 12 ounce can of Co'Cola any more.

All that said.....unsweet.

Unsweet. Got used to it during our honeymoon in England. But as a kid in Ole Virginny, I used to have a layer of sugar on the bottom of the glass of iced tea.

It depends on what I'm having it with.

Sometimes sweet, somtimes not.

Sometimes in between.

Sugar, Splenda, whatever.
