DURAN DURAN Concert

Well, I had no idea just how MUCH of a trouble maker I was. It appears that my last Duran Duran thread was deleted for some reason. I guess I just can't stop pissing people off.

Anyway, about the concert.

Phucking.....awesome. I've waited 20 years to see these guys live, and it was well worth the wait. I was just blown away by how good they all sounded. I swear, Simon's voice has not changed a bit. John's bass playing, while not all that complicated, was still sharp as ever. Andy's guitar licks sounded like he would have been better suited for a heavy metal band, but were still great. John's drumming was adequate for the material, and Nick Rhodes (who still LOOKS the same) was very tight on keyboards. Altogether they were the same "Fab Five" I knew from the 80's.

I know you can never go back, but it was nice to visit for one night.
