OK, I have a problem
I have two pipes with bent stems and I can not get a pipe cleaner through the stems. There is plenty of air flow so there is nothing blocked in them, they are just too small. I don't know if there are any thinner pipe cleaners to use, but my tapered ones won't go all the way through. They get stuck near the mouthpiece. What can I do? Any suggestions?

There is really nothing you can do. I have a few bent pipes I can't pass a cleaner through. I just let these pipes cool down before removing the stem from the stummel so as to not break the shank trying to remove the stem from a hot pipe.
If you do find a solution, please share. I would like to know myself how to pass a pipe cleaner through a bent pipe without having to remove the stem.

Have you tried fuzzy sticks from Wally World?

They look like long pipe cleaners; which is what I use them for.

Yes, but even the standard ones or my long ones for my churchwarden pipes don't fit! I just let the pipe cool off before taking it apart to clean. My problem is when I am smoking and the moisture builds up. I hate it when my pipe starts to gurgle!!

What kind of pipe doesn't fit a standard pipe cleaner?

I think he means the pipe cleaner doesn't pass all the way through.

That's right. The pipe cleaners won't fit through the bit or won't fit through the bend in the stem.
