Wrapper: Cuban Seed
Binder: Cuban Seed Filler: Cuban Seed Size: Robusto (5 x 50) MSRP (ea) $3.75 Appearance - 18/20 - Great looking cigar. Period. Looks like a catalog showpiece. Construction - 18/20 - Clips clean. Neatly applied cap. Smooth looka and feel with no dicernable soft or hard spots. A firmly packed parejo with an absolutely perfect draw. Taste - 41/50 - A good tasting medium bodied cigar. Straight forward tobacco taste. While I am one that likes to use "cA metaphors" for flavor, there are really none to describe this cigar except tobacco and "creamy" smooth. If there is one point to knock, it would be that the cigar is not very complex. Overall - 7/10 - An enjoyable cigar. Will I be adding it to my personal rotation. Probably not. Only because there are many cigars (including some Toranos) that simply give a more interesting smoking experience for the same money. Total - 84/100 - Normally I would not complain about complexity of a cigar of this size, but since this vitola is so firmly packed it burns for a LOOOOOOOONG time and I found myself just a tad bored by the end of it. Still a worthy cigar to try should the opportunity arise.
