Hey guys, its been a while so Hello and happy holidays

Anyways, a friend of mine approached me with an odd humidor issue. He mentionted that he had purchased a humidor from a local B&M at his home state (he's now at school in socal). Anyways, he mentionted that before he ever got a chance to prep or put cigars into the humidor, he noticed little bugs moving around on the ceder trays.

Anyways, he said that the bugs seem to have long since disapeared or simply died out. Mind you again, there were never any cigars in this humidor.

Any idea what these bugs were? Is there some type of prep that can be done to clean the humidor?
