I'm not a rum lover, but I do like the Kraken spiced variety. It's about the color of molasses, but not nearly as thick. Interesting bottles too.

Can't speak for beevod but for me personally, I like the 5 Star (8yr) and also the Estate Reserve (15yr). I really like the Estate Reserve for a rum drank straight up.

I also have drank Matusalem Classico as my mixing rum for years.

Another really good rum IMHO is El Dorado 12 yr.

One of my guilty pleasure is drinking a couple of fingers of Ron Zacapa XO. Not overly sweet. If you can find it on sale(around $45.00) grab a bottle or two.
