Do you ever get an hankering for one particular type of cigar? I was trying to decide what woould be the evening smoke when I remembered that I had a box of these at the bottom of my 150 coolidor. I had no idea they were that old now.
I have been smoking ISOM's almost exclusively since 9/11, so this was quite a change of pace. I forgot how much I enjoy these. Nice dark brown wrapper almost oozing with oils. Great spicey nose. The burn was a little uneven, but it was a slow burn that held a long ash. And the taste. Wow. Pepper, cream, and a nice rounded taste that feels youe entire taste buds. Thick, rich smoke. A great evening made even better with a great cigar. "We trade with Red China. We trade with Vietnam. Somebody tell me again why we have an embargo against little ol' Cuba?
