Popped open another bottle of Redbreast 15 Year Old Irish Whiskey this Monday just past, and have been enjoying it over the last couple of evenings... sterling stuff!

A dram fresh off the top of a just purchased bottle of The Whistler The Blue Note 7 Year Old Irish Single Malt Whiskey (46%ABV, 5 years in ex-Bourbon casks followed by a 2-year finishing period in ex-Sherry oak)... Very tasty, and even more impressive given its relative youthfulness. No chill filtering and natural colour to boot.

Yet another pour of this sterling spirit tonight. Only a very few drams left in the bottle now, however.

Diet cream soda. A refreshing change.

Try a shot of Beam with it as a mixer. Not having the Beam tonight, but the vanilla flavor goes well with it.

Buffalo Trace single barrel. If your retailer buys a barrel for itself, you must try it. Mine is selling it at the same price as ordinary BT, $27. Worth it at twice the price. I've probably drunk half the barrel myself.
