I'd have to say that Portugal and Spain offer a wonderful range of choices when it comes to table wines. These two countries are currently at the top of my 'hunting list' when it comes to value for money - not to mention the many unique indigenous grape varieties 'on tap', which provide 'palate relief' from the ubiquitous Cabernets, Merlots, Pinots and Syrahs of the wine world.
