Making a smoke-room

Me and my roomates would like to turn our basement into a place where we could smoke cigars when it gets nasty outside. We have a really nice area, but the only problem is that we are worried the smoke smell will drift all through the house. We tried it out yesterday and sure enough you could smell cigar on the floor above.

Does anyone have any suggestions for keeping the smoke confined to the basement? The basement is almost like a cellar, there are only a few windows and they arnt ideally placed. I was thinking of putting a fan up by a window and having it blow out, but I dont think this will be all that effective.

I was also thinking of getting a cheap air purifier, but I dont know if they make any that fit our specifications. It would have to be really cheap (college guys) and actually work.

I dont want to smoke outside in the winter.
