A question for the room ... POST-RTDA UPDATE

Well, after a long time lurking here (and not really paying much attention ), I finally find a reason to post. As many of you know, I've just opened a B&M. One thing I'm lacking right now is pipes and pipe tobacco. It's becoming an issue, though, since it turns out that there are a lot a pipe smokers around here. Unfortunately, since I don't smoke pipes (I've been wanting to pick it up, but just haven't been able to get to it) I am totally lost when it comes to pipe tobacco. I'm totally stymied here.

What I could use is some direction. What do you like to see when you buy tobacco? What would you suggest as some staples, or must-haves? What would you NOT suggest? You get the idea. My buying budget is going to be fairly limited at first, but I really need to get some product on the shelf - I hate turning potential customers away.

So - what say you all. Any guidance here would be much appreciated.
