I just got one of these a week ago and have been playing with the 2 pre-sets for now.
I've been roasting with poppers for about four years and am used to 2 1/2 min. to the end of 1st crack. I'd usually roast to 400-435 w/probe but 10 min. at 455 kinda scared me a little. A lot more body and a whole different taste. Odi hit the nail on the head though. Tonight I roasted a cup of Boli and I thought I stalled the roast. It couldn't breath and chugged a little and when I cleaned the chaff collecter it was FULL. It's a great machine and I like the action but I like a little lighter roast with the brightness too. Yes there is a learning curve to this.
