When I had my wisdoms removed I lived for a week on Vicodin, bourbon and pasta.

Ive. Had a crown. Call bullshit on the pain. I'd rather have an all pull.

had two lower molars pulled, other than the couple weeks of nagging ache, pretty much a cakewalk. with the months of pain from the cracked teeth gone, the nerves gone, it became just a chewed up hole that took a while to heal. everybody has had wounds worse than that.

chloraseptic and and bourbon. Numbs and sterilized. Separately, not together.

Pulling. The dentist essentially sticks a prying tool under the gums, breaks up some of the bone and separates the tooth from the bone, cuts the gum tissue loose, then grabs it with pliers, works it loose, and pries it out using your front teeth for leverage. Of course, that's for bicuspids, doing an incisor with only one root is a heck of a lot easier, he pries at it and loosens the guns, then essentially twists it out like a cork from a wine bottle. Still hurts. Just far less damage. simple removal takes a few minutes, I guess fifteen. I've had two pulled, wife has more crowns than I can remember, and she is having one done today, even. Got to drill out whatever is wrong, drill out the root canal and fill it, grind the tooth to fit the crown, then fit a temp crown until the replacement is made.

My wife's teeth are terrible, probably malnourished as a kid. Constant fillings and crowns. Me, I haven't filled a tooth since high school, had my wisdom teeth removed, pulled two teeth that probably cracked because of the wisdom teeth.

Some people are born to have dental problems, the rest of us drink our milk and EAT TUMS LIKE CANDY FROM THE TIME THEY ARE FIFTEEN. acid reflux. a mixed curse. Gross breath and stomach pain, but damn, calcium consumption that never ends.

No, just expecting a bullet at the back of the head. Be less trouble that way.

I had the gas when I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled in my early 20's. There's no way I'd do it without the gas.

My younger brother did it without the gas years later. He was all numbed up, but he had to listen to the dentist struggle to get the teeth out.

"Come on now!! Move it!!! Damn it! You little bastard!!"
