The best way to salvage dried up pipe tobacco is to :
1. Put it in a clean tupperware container. I use one about 8" square and 2" deep. 2. Get some paper towels - a piece bigger than the top of the tuperware. 3. Wet the paper towel with distilled water ... and wring it out. 4. Cover the top of the tupperware with the towel. 5. Snap on the top of the tupperware and set aside overnight. 6. In the morning your tobacco will be hydrated. 7. Put in in clean mason jars for long term aging.
