Any pipe action?

Though I am smoking pipes every day, I'm not buying or restoring many right now. My focus is pretty narrow and there hasn't been much good eBay action lately.

My favorite pipes to smoke right now are my new era Kaywoodies. They all smoke just great. The higher priced offerings (Hand Made, Thorn, Pipe of the Year) are really exceptional. Unfortunately there don't seem to be a lot of new ones out there right now.

Tobaccos I am smoking right now are Gawith & Hogarth's Bosun's Cut Plug and Hearth and Home's (PipesandCigars.com) Lakeland Brickle.

Bosun's smokes pretty well in any pipe. The Brickle can be bitey, but in the right pipe it's good.

I also like Conniston Cut Plug which is a stronger version of Bosun's.

The price of good pipe tobacco is rising. Still more economical than cigars though.
