I smoked a Hemingway Signature last night. I poked through the desktop humidor and it caught my eye. I actually didn't remember what it was as it's been in the humidor for over a year. As I pulled it out of the cello, I noticed a light yellowing on the cello. The appearance was beautiful, with the tapered foot and the dark wrapper with a nice oily sheen. I wasn't expecting it to be a great cigar but I was surprised! It was excellent by non-ISOM standards. A little tight draw in the beginning but it produced thick aromatic smoke after about the half-way mark. Great flavors throughout that left a different taste on my palatte after about every third. It had a perfect burn and nice solid white/gray ash. Not knowing what this smoke was in the beginning was a great way to smoke this stick. I wasn't biased into any expectations. After smoking this beauty, I had to find out what it was. Off to cigarfamily.com and there it was.

I've developed an addiction to ISOMs in the past 6 months, so I've pledged to only smoke ISOMs. But knowing that there are excellent non-island smokes readily available here is great! Too bad I only had one of these, but luckily they're only a hop, skip and a jump away!
