What pipe tobacco are you smoking today?

Smoking PS LTF this evening. I sometimes overpack this tobacco which causes some draw problems. I sometimes try to fill a pipe with two Flakes. This causes the tobacco to not taste at its best. Today I only prepared one Flake that filled my pipe 2/3 full. The draw is perfect allowing dense rich smoke to fill the palate. Flavor is outstanding and full. So enjoyable. It even stays lit better.

Dunhill Blue. Smells of ripe dates. Smokes very nicely.

Yesterday it was Frog Morton On The Bayou. You can't beat the frogger!
Last night I tried Sutliff Heavy English and C&D Bayou Morning.

Andy, the pipe smokes great. Smokes a bit warm never getting hot. Not surprised since the walls are thick. It is a short pipe so I smoke it slow since the smoke doesn't cool down much. The pipe is light (40 grams) making it easy to clench. The stem is a bit wider then I am use to but still comfortable. I like that I can rest it on the table and it won't tip over.

I'll give you some thoughts on the PS tobacco later.

I topped a thread about PS LTF for your review. All PS flakes age well, and definitely improves with age.

I smoked a bowl of C&D Epiphany this afternoon. This was a very satisfying smoke. I didn't think it was all that strong. It was smooth.

Picked up a tin from consignment with a factory date of 2008. Not strong like I thought the fresh stuff was, but really peppery, kinda hot spicy tasting. So far I like the fresh stuff better, much smoother and better flavors, but that's only one bowl tried.
