Excellent article Doug and a great read! Scotch was my spirit of choice probably 25 years ago and somehow I just seemed to progress away from it. I may just need to revisit my old friend!

Nice, I enjoyed the read. I'll have to check out your book as I've been venturing further into to scotch since I've picked up cigar smoking. My local B&M has a LOT of scotch drinkers, one of them in a walking Wikipedia that could talk for eons about scotch.

Great read. Makes me sad that I can't have any real stuff right now.

At least I can drink the clear stuff I distill and age in the Jack Daniels barrel smoking chips. It's pretty damn close after aging for a few months.
