Interesting.
It will likely be a tough sell to traditionalists.

So instead of your Elijah Craig being aged 12 years it may just be aged 12 days.

sort of like charcoal filtering
it seems to miss the point that barrel aging is done to impart flavors

"During the distillation process, many chemical reactions occur but do not complete. As a result, many impurities, collectively called congeners, are left behind."
Precisely the chemical constituents that, with careful monitoring at the various stages following distillation (and with proper maturation) yield the most complex and characterful aromatic and flavour traits in a quality distilled spirit. "Our technology is a completely new, natural process which has been independently proven to reduce unwanted congeners and reveal a smoother, more refined spirit." Anotherwords, we're talking rectification and removal here. "Since the TerrePURE process involves applying energy to certain chemical reactions in order to enhance flavor, flavors can be added during the process that result in wonderfully vivid, cohesive spirits that won’t fall apart." Or, to put it in more accurate terms, artificiality. For some reason, I'm reminded of the Chinese experiments of a few years back involving exposing wines to radioactivity in order to speed up the maturation process and, thereby, render wines totally drinkable in a much shorter period of time. This more recent tact is obviously aimed primarily at spirits destined for mixing (cocktails), and NOT at the quality spirits market.

Thanks for the correction. The Maple Leafs' colors are blue and white anyway, aren't they.
We don't get much hockey hereabouts so I'm a little isolated.
