San Luis Rey Torpedo
I got this gorgeous cigar from a PIF from Mountchuck. Thanks brother!
Appearance: Beautiful wrapper. No spots or major veins. Perfect tip. Pre-Light: Nice tobacco, spicy flavors. Draw is really nice. First Third: HUGE amounts of smoke....I feel like I'm in Los Angeles or Mexico City. Great tobacco taste with hints of nuts and mild spices. Razor sharp burn and nice looking ash. So far....VERY nice. Second Third: Not much has change...still lots of smoke. Seems like the spicy has increase and I swear I taste some amaretto. Slight metallic taste, but not too much. I have a spot that won't burn now, but its looks like its self correcting. Last Third: Not much else, but it was much creamier. Overall: Nice cigar. Really good flavor and nice build. LOTS of smoke. Score: 88/100 |
