Flor de Gonzalez 20th Anniversary

As I walked past his booth at IPCPR, Senor Gonzalez said to me, "would you like to smoke a really good cigar?"

Of course, I thought, "Duh..."

Beautifully constructed with a slight box press, it drew well and had a nice medium balanced flavor. About half-way through the cigar I started having draw problems, most of which I attributed to the unreal humidity of New Orleans, but after a couple of finger rolls and relights it opened back up into a really wonderful cigar with a nice rich finish.

As to the draw problems I had, we all know that hand-rolled cigars can be prone to certain imperfections; I expect that I just got a bit unlucky and was rewarded for not giving up on it.
