Pulled out some guitar slingers over the weekend.
Joe Satraini: Surfing with the Alien
Eric Johnson:Tones
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble: Live Alive.
Remembering my college days.

EJ's Tones was the first album I listened to where the music sounded better on vinyl than cd. I had only heard Tones on cd until I got this album. I heard notes that weren't there on the cd. Amazing.

Just purchased a new 180-gram re-issue vinyl pressing of Oscar Peterson's classic Affinity album yesterday and plopped it on the platter. Super-natural sound quality, and the music (of course) speaks for itself.

I need to get on the stick and connect my old receiver to the rest of the stereo system. It's just such a pain to trace all of the wires. I need to go buy a labeller and tag each one. I always say I'm going to do it that way next time, but I get started and the next thing you know, the entire day has gone by.

I just use masking tape wrapped about the ends of the cables, and write the appropriate info on it.
