Humidor blueprint wanted

I'm looking for a humidor blueprint.
Any type. Small or large.
Checked out the search option.
Google Images has quite a few pictures of humidors!

Did you try Rockler's Woodworking?

They even have plans for three-door iceboxes, caskets, and steamer trunks.

Maybe one of those would work.

Lots of cool stuff stuff.
Solid brass hinges, locks and Spanish cedar.
But no blueprints.
They have some great woodworkers here in the Philippines but I think a large furniture piece humidor is beyond their abilities.

What exactly do you need blueprints for? Are you trying to make one or have someone else make one for you? Unless I were going to attempt to make several of something, blueprints are the last thing I need to build anything from. Ok, a house maybe, but nothing smaller than that.

I want a large furniture humidor.
Here in the Philippines you have to be VERY specific. Otherwise you will be sadly disappointed.
Since I made this post I have met an American who owns a furniture shop. He will also ship any size piece of furniture. He used to live in Hawaii and made desktop humidors from Koa. He has never done a large humidor. He does not have Spanish cedar and will have to import it.
If anyone is in need of his services I can get you a quote. I will do all the running around at no charge. Just for my fellow BOTL's.
I am having a bed made of red Nara for p60,000.00 (appox. $1428.57 USD). This is a bed and two nightstands and includes a p7,000.00 ($166.67 USD) foam mattress. Made to my specifications. Sketched not blueprint. A large humidor will be more intricate and need exacting measurements.
Writing this I am wondering of the need for cedar. Cedar to cigars is like oak to wine? What if I build a humidor from a hard wood that is insect proof (like Nara) and don't use cedar?
Thoughts please?

I can't speak from experience with humidors, but I have used Northern White Ash, Honduran Mahogany, Basswood and Michigan Maple for electric guitar bodies which require a hardwood variety. Many of them have a mild aromatic quality, even if you can't smell it on the surface and it will permeate cigars.

I know people have used Walnut and several other types of wood for humidors, but almost exclusively the wood inside is Spanish Cedar because it is not aromatic and holds humidity at as very stable rate.

Agreed. You would only need the SC for lining the interior. You may not need that much compared to the rest of the wood you use

Not many plans out there. What there is isn't great. And I have never seen plans online for a cabinet type.

Find pictures and give your craftsman specific directions regarding wood dimensions, shelves, etc.

Spanish Cedar gives the humidor interior humidity stability. In older humidors a glass or metal lining was used. I personally don't think Spanish Cedar veneer will give the desired function. I'd use 3/8" as a liner in a cabinet.

In reality just about any box/cabinet plan can be made into a humidor. You just need to pay attention to your joinery (keep it tight) and allow room to line it with spanish cedar and you will be golden.
