Here’s the deal, since Mardi Gras officially kicks off here in Mobile, AL on January 30th, we would like to get a box pass started and moving along by then. We know what you’re thinking, Mardi Gras in Mobile? Well it all started here well before the Civil War but after it was over, New Orleans jumped on the bandwagon and made it their own.

Since there are 14 days of Carnival we are looking for 14 people for the pass. The cutoff date is January 20th 9:00 p.m. central. If we don’t have 14 by then we’ll go with what we got.
Everyone involved will get a bag of goodies from parades here in the Port City, which amounts to a load of worthless crap, but it’s a load of fun to catch and if you have kids or are just a kid at heart the stuff is lots of fun.

The first few passers will get their goodies in the box pass. The folks towards the end will get theirs in a separate box, so they will have it in time for Fat Tuesday on Feb 14th. Everyone’s bag will be a bit different, but all of it came off floats, nothing from the store, only the genuine article.
