Cant get RH below 75%
Ok, I cant get humidor below 75% RH, if i crack open a inch it makes it worse, i have in basement where it is cool, but the humidity outside is really bad where also the temp. is approx. 95 degree, i have central ac and the temp in basement is about 70%. What can i do for now to get the % down to 69%? any help would be appreciated.

A dehumidifer in the room with the humi should help. If it is a big humi you could try a little damp-rid.

Nope, the paper is as humid as the air. You could dry it over a fire for a bit and put it in there but as soon as you open the humi, whoosh in comes the high RH air you done again.

Eva-Dry mini dehumidifiers work great in my cooler and chestidor.
If you're looking to lower the humidity in a humidor, I suppose you could put the humidor and dehumidifier in a cooler...
